1) International Women’s Scholarship Fund
The IWSPF Scholarship Fund is awarded to women over 21 years of age who have completed or are currently enrolled in a program or course of study at an accredited post-secondary institution. The program provides Scholarships for Women and support to enable women to complete their studies and obtain employment, thereby reducing poverty among women and children. To be eligible, you must be female between 21 and 35 years old, have graduated from high school or have an equivalent education. You must also plan to return home after you earn your degree (you do not need to be from a developing country)and practice full-time as a professional in your community for at least three years. It’s best if you’re studying medicine, nursing, midwifery, teaching or public health.

2) Betty Bowen Scholarship
The Betty Bowen Scholarships for Women provides $500 annually to female athletes at Bowling Green State University (Ohio). Applicants must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and be involved in athletics, have leadership potential, demonstrate good citizenship and display financial need. The program is open to any female athlete on BGSU’s intercollegiate team. Recipients are selected by committee at completion of each academic year. The award is renewable each year provided that recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA and remains an active member of a varsity athletic team.
3) Association of Black Anthropologists Graduate Student Paper Award
Graduate students who present their original research at one of the American Anthropological Association meetings are eligible to apply. The award is $500.
4) Alliances & Affiliates Scholarship
Founded by Diversity MBA, an alliance of diverse MBA student organizations, through its Affiliates Scholarships for Women, aims to assist African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American and women of Asian ancestry with financial assistance toward a graduate degree from an accredited business school. Scholarship applicants must have their entire business school career funded either through Diversity MBA Affiliate chapters or one of Diversity MBA’s corporate partners. In addition to women scholarships, they offer fellowships as well. To be eligible you must be a woman enrolled full-time at a U.S.-based institution during your semester of application and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the time you apply (single transcripts accepted).

5) Asian Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund
The Asian Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF) was created to address a lack of financial support among Asian Pacific Islanders. Established in 2000 by a group of community leaders, APIASF offers scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students. More than $20 million has been awarded since its inception, with over 4,000 students benefiting from an APIASF scholarship. Multiple levels of scholarship are available; students are awarded based on academic achievement, need, and ethnicity or national origin. Specifically geared toward low-income families and first-generation college students of Asian Pacific Islander descent.
6) La Unidad Latina Foundation
La Unidad Latina Foundation awards Scholarships for Women to more than 100 women each year who are committed to advancing their careers and community. Applicants must be over 18, a US citizen or legal resident with a minimum of 2.5 GPA and be entering their junior or senior year at an accredited four-year college or university. The top award is $2,500. Applications are accepted from May through June of each year.
7) National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Graduate Fellowships Program
This fellowship is intended to encourage talented graduate students to enter careers in oceanic and atmospheric research, management, and education. These fellowships are intended to encourage graduate study leading to M.S. or Ph.D. degrees at accredited U.S. universities by providing support for tuition and a stipend of $30,000 per year for two years plus a cost-of-education allowance of $10,500 per year (for all three years). 8) Robert F. Kennedy Memorial, Inc. (RFK Memorial) – Summer Internship Program
To apply to a summer internship program offered by Robert F. Kennedy Memorial, Inc., you must be eligible to work in Washington, D.C. as an unpaid intern and meet one of two requirements: You must be enrolled as a full-time student during your senior year at college or university (You may attend school either on campus or through distance learning); OR You are at least 18 years old and graduated from high school within past 12 months. 9) Russian Government Scholarship Program for Foreign Students From Developing Countries
A Russian government scholarship is available to women from developing countries.The scholarship covers all living expenses for an entire degree program, and a stipend is provided as well. Women from more than 120 developing countries qualify for this international scholarship program. For example, if you are from Sierra Leone, you must be a woman between 18-35 years old and be a high school graduate or equivalent. The deadline to apply to become a participant in 2016 is March 31.
10) US Department of State – Critical Language Scholarship
The US Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs provides funding to institutions around the world to develop language training programs designed to support US foreign policy interests. Because many of these languages are also needed by other countries, scholarship recipients have a wide variety of career opportunities when they complete their language training.
