Tianjin Government Scholarship 2022

 

The Tianjin Government Scholarship is open to international students who wish to pursue their studies in Tianjin, China. The scholarship covers tuition, insurance, accommodation and living expenses. Successful applicants will also receive an allowance of 2,000 RMB per month, as well as free Chinese language training for one year.

Who can apply?

The China Scholarship Council provides recommendations for international students who can apply for a Tianjin Government Scholarship to study in China. To be eligible, you must be: -A full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree student with good grades (above 85% at bachelor level and above 70% at master’s level); -No older than 45 years old; -Enrolled in one of CSC program schools, under which your home university is affiliated; -Have not studied in China before. For example, if you are applying as an international student to study Chinese language at Beijing Foreign Studies University , your alma mater should be a member school of Fulbright Commission or Ford Foundation’s Hubert H.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens who plan to study full time at an institution of higher education in China. The applicant must meet all conditions for admission and must not have completed any higher education in China. Candidates are also required to hold a passport from countries and regions that are members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, except for nationals of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. In addition, candidates cannot apply for more than one government scholarship at any given time. Final determination will be made by China Scholarship Council. The Application Process

The first step to applying for any scholarship is always research as well as for Tianjin Government Scholarship. Make sure you read up on application requirements, deadline dates, and how much funding you may receive in financial aid before getting started. We encourage all applicants to also apply for as many scholarships as possible during their senior year of high school; these need not be only Chinese scholarship opportunities but may include other international scholarships as well. The more applications you send out, the higher your chances are at receiving a scholarship that matches your interests and needs. The scholarship benefits

A single scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, study trip and some medical expenses. To be eligible for grants from other sources, students must apply independently or through their own institutions/countries. For students receiving grants to cover airfare and/or some accommodation costs from other sources, there is no financial restriction for them to be awarded a Tianjin Government Scholarship.
