Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships are now open at the University of Toronto offers the unparalleled opportunity for outstanding international students to study at one of the world’s leading universities in one of the world’s most populous cities. Awarded annually, these bursaries recognize outstanding students from around the world, including international students attending Canadian high schools. Each year about 37 students will be named Lester B. Pearson Scholars.

Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships will include:
- The cost of buying books
- coverage of tuition fees which will cover full tuition grants, full tuition costs
- Event payment support
- Free airfare
- Full four-year stay support, free accommodation

Documents required for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship Application:
The documents required for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application are:
- GRE certificate schools
- Copy of valid passport for at least one year
- MS syllabus application curriculum article
- Copies of all transcripts
- No Scholarship Application
- Motivational Book
- Copies of undergrad or grad certificate
- Research proposal for students with doctoral degrees
- Statement of intent (SOP)
- Letters of recommendation should be written by two previous experts
- English Learning Certificate

Procedure for Applying for a Lester B. Pearson Scholarship:
To apply for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship, you will need:
Get a nomination for your school High schools that have not yet been contacted / certified are requested to submit an application to participate in our program, which is available here.
- Apply to study at the University of Toronto to begin your studies in 2023 and complete your application for admission in due course.
- Please note that you will be considered for a Pearson Scholarship to choose your first degree at U of T. You can apply for a few programs and get admission to all of them; however, the Pearson Scholarship, if awarded, will be limited to your choice of the first course at U of T at the time of our study decisions.
- Once you have been nominated and applied for university, you can complete the online application for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship.
Eligibility for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship:
To be eligible to apply for the Pearson International Scholarship, you must be:
- International student (i.e. non-Canadian who needs a study permit);
You are currently in your final year of high school or have not yet graduated before June 2024 - Starting your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2023 (students already studying for post-secondary studies are not considered
- students starting their studies in January 2024 at another post-secondary institution may not be considered)
