For Ph.D. Students:

What are the available undergraduate degrees?

The School of Allied Health Science has begun to admit students from top 20 universities worldwide who have professional interests or majors related to allied health science, such as medical imaging and radiation therapy. Undergraduate degrees offered are: (1) Medical Imaging Technology, and (2) Radiation Therapy Technology.

What are the available graduate degrees?

Master of Science and Master of Engineering degrees are offered. PhD candidates can also be considered for some scholarships. All degree students receive a monthly stipend to cover their living expenses. The current MSc tuition fee is NTD$35,000 per year (around USD $1,300) and TKD$10,000 per year (around USD $3,300) for master’s and doctoral students respectively.

How much funding do I get?

Scholarships awarded by Chang Gung University typically pay full tuition. If you’re awarded a scholarship, you will also receive an additional monthly stipend to cover your accommodation and living expenses.

How will my scholarship be provided?

Undergraduate students will receive a monthly scholarship of NT$20,000/month for two years and Master’s or Doctoral candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of NT$30,000/month for two years. In addition to these scholarships, medical insurance and a stipend for books are provided by Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH).

What kind of accommodation can I expect?

Accommodation can range from a self-contained apartment (studio style) to an apartment shared with one or more students. Depending on your living needs, you may need to bring your own bedding and kitchen utensils. You will have access to laundry facilities.

What support is available while I study there?

There are multiple scholarships on offer to international students who want to study medicine at Chang Gung University. These range from ones that support your tuition fees, to ones that help you with travel expenses and accommodation costs. You’ll also be able to access other financial aid from your university and loans from a bank or other financial institution.
